Drum Show Meeting
Drum Corp. show final planning meeting will be Wednesday, July 8 at 6:30 at the AMHERST LIBRARY in the conference room downstairs. Please come if you want to help.
FOOTBALL GAME CHANGE
The marching schedule has Oct. 30 - Avon Lake Game - Senior Night. That has been changed to THURSDAY Oct. 29 due to the game being televised. Senior parents please make plans to attend Thursday instead of Friday. Pictures will start around 6:00pm.
Deposit Slips for Fall of 2009
To the right of this window is the fee schedule for the Amherst Marching Comets' fall season.
Notice that it is Pay-to-Play and just a little bit more for band camp meals and marching shoes if needed. Please use the deposit slips for turning in any money to us.
The first $100 pay-to-play deposit is due by June 1st.
This is to reserve your spot on the field and in the drill. We begin writing drill in June and can't make any changes after it is completed.

The 2009 Marching Band Schedule is posted and can be viewed by clicking the 09 Marching Schedule tab above.
Dates include band camp, football games, and competitions of the Amherst Marching Comets.

PLEASE GO TO NORD DURING BINGO ON WED. OR SUNDAY TO SIGN UP. The band earns $25 per slot. By state law, NO ONE GETS PAID TO WORK BINGO. All of the work is performed by parent volunteers and the net proceeds are distributed under the charitable gambling guidelines through the State of Ohio. The Teams (Band) receive money in proportion to the amount of time the parents have worked.
